FISHING THE PACIFIC

This part of the world is renowned for sport fishing year round, and Las Catalinas is in the heart of some of the best. Charters leave from nearby Flamingo Marina and are available for half or full day. The waters near Casa Blanca get deep fast and you will be pleasantly surprised with the fishing that can be done relatively near shore. We see Marlin (Peak Season Nov - Mar), Sailfish (Peak Season Mar - Aug), Tuna (Peak Season Aug - Oct), Mahi-mahi (Peak Season May-Oct), Roosterfish (Peak Season Nov - Mar) and Wahoo (Peak Season May - Aug). Consider pairing a day on the water with a chef for the evening to prepare your catch.

Local Tip : The Surf Box is located just a few blocks from the marina, if you are off the water by 3:00pm, it is a great breakfast or lunch stop.
